Having honed their skills and developed their own style during eleven years as a team their work has resulted in consistently favourable reports.The restaurant at Waterside, Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny, has earned a reputation for excellence over many years. The room itself, with its riverfront location, sets the scene for a wonderful intimate evening with great food and fine wines. The atmosphere in the dining room is relaxed and comfortable. The food is good, the wine list is delicious with over 40 wines from right around the globe, including a very good line up from Italy and one or two of the better South African vineyards.
Try our delicious walnut brown bread, our famous game dishes, and the local delicacy of smoked Eels (introduced by the monks 800 years ago!).
The restaurant at Waterside has also developed a great reputation for its ‘After Dinner Live’ sessions. On these nights you get to enjoy dinner followed by live music without having to leave your table. Jazz, blues, bluegrass, sixties, and traditional nights all feature during the year.
